Project Description:
A reclamation and development project for B1, B2, B8 uses on 339 acres of mixed agricultural and reclaimed colliery areas. The project involved the preparation of an Environmental Assessment including major digital ground modelling.

Birch Coppice was one of the first of a new generation of rail served industrial parks designed in accordance with client requirements to provide an industrial estate with a parkland setting. Part of the works involved the design of a drainage filtration system using SAP ponds and reed beds creating new habitats and open space.

Originally commissioned in 1997 Bea Landscape Design are retained as Landscape Architects for the future phases of development recently completing a Landscape Management and Maintenance Plan for the whole park.
