Jul ’11: Birch Coppice Phase 2

Works to the extension of the award winning Birch Coppice began on site in April this year.

Bea Landscape Design was responsible for the preparation of the Landscape Visual Impact Assessment and collation of the full Environmental Impact Assessment together with the full detailed design of the soft landscape proposals for planning approval and the construction stage.

The development of this 46 hectare former farmland included the planting of over 600,000 trees, 2.5km of hedgerows and over 2.9 hectares of permanent wetland reed beds as part of the main infrastructure works.
