Nov ’10: Coughton Court Works Completed

Practical completion has now been awarded for the Flood Alleviation Scheme at the National Trust property Coughton Court, Alcester, near Redditch.

Following the severe floods in July 2007 hydrologists Haycock Associates, were commissioned to design a flood alleviation scheme to protect the Court and the gardens from future flood events.

Located within the setting of the listed building, conservation area and scheduled ancient monument Bea Landscape Design were commissioned by the National Trust as landscape architects, project managers and quantity surveyors providing planning and arboricultural advice.
