Project Description:

Coughton Court is a Grade 1 listed property set within a Scheduled Ancient Monument and Conservation Area. Bea were commissioned in 2008 as project manager and Landscape Architect for the flood alleviation proposals designed by hydrological consultants, Haycock Associates following the July 2007 flooding.

Bea Landscape Design were also commissioned to carry out a tree survey and design and administer improvements to the main and overflow car parks.

The car park improvements were successfully completed in 2009 and the flood alleviation swale was finished in 2011.  The project also included the restoration of the historic railings, a new bridge and stone walling.
