Bea Landscape Design Ltd was appointed in 2015 to carry out Tree Surveys, Landscape Appraisals, Photomontages and Detailed Planting Proposals for a number of Solar Farm projects across England and Wales during the 2015 energy subsidy period.  The majority were a minimum of 10hectare/ 5MWp output sites.  Many of the projects were carried out as initial feasibility appraisals only whilst others were submitted as full planning applications and successfully approved.

With the benefit of proposed low level structures, views of many of the proposed schemes were mitigated by gapping up existing hedgerows and introducing additional hedgerow trees, whilst the land beneath the panels were either continued to be grazed by sheep or ecologically enhanced as wildflower meadows.
