Project Description:
Dan Rudge at Bea Landscape Design Ltd provided extensive voluntary community support towards the enhancement of a local park and woodland in Halesowen, West Midlands.
On behalf of the Friends of Hawne Park and Dudley MBC, work has included carrying out Masterplanning, detailed design, submission of planning applications, 3D visualisations, public consultation, presentations and assisting in several successful grant applications for a series of site improvement works. The work even attracted the attention of the then Home Secretary Theresa May.
Dan also got his hands dirty, assisting directly in woodland & stream management and planting works. The group formed in 2015 and is still going strong.
