Project Description:

Staffordshire Council surrendered their lease of the Grade I Registered Shugborough Park in November 2016, handing the property back to the National Trust who embarked on a number of improvement projects before Shugborough reopened to the public in March 2017. As part of the transition arrangements Bea Landscape Design where tasked by the National Trust to look at enhancements and extension of the existing car park including ways of improving visitor access.

Bea Landscape Design provided Landscape Design, Principal Designer and Arboricultural Consultancy services for the project, securing planning approval, tendering and administering the implementation contract which was successfully completed within budget on the 17th March 2017.

Further commissions include a Plant Sales area and Fuel, Waste Storage Compound & Compost Facility.
