Construction is underway on a new public amenity hub at Mercia Park, the 3.5 million sq. ft manufacturing and logistics development owned by IM Properties. Located off Junction 11 of the M42 motorway, the scheme provided a ‘hub’ for its community-focused infrastructure.
Mercia Park includes extensive public open space designed by BEA, with thoughtfully planned pathways for use by local residents and employees based on site. The new hub has been created to integrate seamlessly with the wider Mercia Park development while enhancing accessibility and wellbeing.
Planned features include secure bicycle stands, dedicated car parking, a woodland setting, and a breakout seating area complete with a striking public art wall. The space is expected to benefit walkers and cyclists, further strengthening connections between the business park and the surrounding community.
