Jun ’13: Garden Design

Following the successful completion of phase one landscape implementation of a private garden in Wolverhampton, Bea Landscape Design Ltd was appointed to continue their efforts in re-developing the private estate in 2012.

The original scheme incorporated Baroque parterres and sunken seating areas, the development of which has seen the main garden progress to an exemplar private garden.

The main garden lawn areas are encapsulated by Lavender hedgerows and reclaimed brick walling with bespoke feature stone panels which echo the natural stone elsewhere on the estate and resonate with the underlying geology.

Premium quality Greenmoor natural stone paving is edged with flame finish blue Welsh Pennant setts, the circular pathways being pre-cut and finished to high standards prior to delivery to site.

The resulting garden comprises a range of unusual and custom-built features including; reclaimed natural stone archways, customised railings, a large wrought iron gazebo and a bespoke ground set well cover – the latter of which was designed by Bea Landscape Design Ltd on discovery of a historical well during initial excavations and levelling works.
