Apr ’15: Heritage Awards

Look what came in the post today!

Appointed in 2007, as project Landscape Architects Bea Landscape Design Ltd designed both the hard and soft landscape for the proposed car parks, including external planting, open space and smaller internal gardens for the proposed new Medical Centre on the edge of the River Stour in Stourbridge.

Key to the design, the proposal centred on the renovation and conversion, led by Abacus Architects, of a 1820’s Grade II foundry building famous for the production of the first steam engine to be used in the USA. This significant local heritage of the site was therefore reflected in the design of the landscape.

Site works were completed in April 2014.
