Sept ’19: Planning Success for Project Mercia
Planning approval for the new Jaguar Land Rover’s distribution centre at M42 Junction 11, near Appleby Magna, was granted by committee on 3rd September 2019.
Working on behalf of IM Properties, Bea Landscape Design Ltd provided the Landscape Visual Impact Assessment as well as extensive detailed designs for the landscaping around this 2.94 million square foot building.
Within this 238 acre former farmland site, over 30,000 trees are to be planted, creating a massive 30 acres of new native woodland.

Aug ’19: Peddimore Green Light!
BEA are pleased to confirm that planning permission has now been granted for Peddimore, a joint project between IM Properties and Birmingham City Council! Find out more here.
The scheme has been landscape led with a full range of services offered by BEA including Arboriculture, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, infrastructure masterplanning, detailed design and extensive local authority and public consultations. BEA will continue to provide on going support through tender and construction stages of the project.

Aug ’19: IM Properties New HQ Complete!
BEA Landscape Design are pleased to have been working on behalf of IM Properties for their new £30M flagship headquarters in Solihull.
BEA provided both the hard and soft landscape designs from concept stage through planning, tender and onto contract administration to bring this first class scheme to life.
The practice worked closely with planting and paving suppliers to select to best products for the job and carried out regular site inspections up to completion to oversee workmanship.

Jul 19: BEA Regeneration Stourbridge
Whilst out and about in sunny Stourbridge we popped in on a couple of our regeneration projects worthy of a photo or two.

Both the new public open space off Canal Street associated with the Doulton Brook residential development (foreground) and the Lion Medical Centre (background), have recently been brought back into use having been derelict industrial areas for many years. Both sites are bisected by the River Stour which itself also underwent environmental restoration works.

Jun 19′: Compton Verney Completion
The resurfacing and extension to the car park at the prestigious Compton Verney Art Gallery & Park has now been completed.

Set within a Grade II* Registered Capability Brown Park & Garden and Conservation Area, the car park improvements are a culmination of Bea Landscape Design association with Compton Verney that commenced in 2014 with the Chapel & Landscape Restoration HLF project.
